I probably won't tell this story as it deserves . . but I'm actually posting this WAyyyyy after the trip . .so I really just want to get these pics up!! :) Our trip started kind of late in the evening . . . But with the evening start - we were still able to get as far as possible into South Dakota that first night. We stopped in Mitchell - which we thought was far enough away from the bikers trying to get to Sturgis. (wrong) We luckily got a place to stay - even tho it stunk like crazy - we were able to (mostly) sleep through the crazy storm that night . . get up - refreshed - and enjoyed the free breakfast before heading out for Day #2 . . .
